CLASS DESCRIPTION: In this hands-on class, the students will learn butter cream consistencies and techniques, including Cornelli Lace. This is strongly recommended before any cake decorating class, so that you can familiarize yourself with the proper use and handling of a piping bag. Consistencies DO make a difference in the world of cake decorating!

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner; Ages 14 & up.

INSTRUCTOR: Susan Shortridge

DATES & TIMES: Tuesday, 9/26/17 from 6-9pm

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES: 1 two-layer 6"x4" round cake (please do not deviate) un-iced, 5 cups white Buttercream, 3 cups colored buttercream (1 cup of 3 different colors, pre-colored, please), Clear Piping gel (squeeze tube or LB container), Tip 1, Tip 2, Tip 18, Tip 21, Tip 233, Tip 104, Tip 352, Tip 2D, Tip 10, #7 Flower Nail, 10 disposable pastry bags, 7 couplers, Small straight spatula, Small offset spatula, Saran wrap, 2 cake circles 8", 8x8x4 cake box, Duct/masking tape, Wilton spray seal or apricot glaze, 1 cup Extra powdered sugar, Large Ziploc bag, for clean up. YOU MAY ALSO OPT TO BUY OUR PRE-MADE BUTTERCREAM FROM THE SHOP ***HOWEVER*** IT IS FROZEN…SO YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE IT 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO ALLOW THAWING TIME!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING ALL SUPPLIES TO CLASS, SO BE SURE TO PURCHASE SUPPLIES PRIOR TO CLASS.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 9/19/17 - If the class still has space available after the deadline, it will still be available for purchase online. If the class has not met the required minimum at the deadline date, class will be re-scheduled or cancelled, at the instructor's discretion.
