STILL SPIRITS© HEAT TURBO (PREVIOUSLY HEAT WAVE TURBO) - Aroma & Flavor: Neutral. Temp Range: START ferment 68°F | 2-3 days @ 95°F | 3-4 days @77°F | will tolerate AIR temp 104°F | optimum AIR temp 86°F. Alcohol Tolerance: Approx. 13% ABV. Other: Delivers excellent quality alcohol in hot conditions; The only Still Spirits strain recommended for 'stacking' ; Up to a 52-gallon volume can be fermented using 8 sachets; Recommended to use Turbo Carbon to improve the performance; recommended no additional heat source, i.e. heat pad, until 2 days after start. Instructions: Prepare water making sure it is as close as possible to 68°F. This cool water temperature is especially important when the air temperature is above 86°F. Adjust the temperature if necessary with hot or cold water. Adjust the water start volume to exactly 21 litres (5.54761 gallons). Now add 6kg (13.2277 lbs) of sugar, sucrose or dextrose and stir until completely disolved. Add the yeast and stir well. Rest the lid loosely on the fermenter and leave to ferment at an air temperature of between 68-104°F. Best results are achieved at an air temperature of between 86-95°F. Fermentation will take 3-4 days. If using a hydrometer; a final gravity as low as 0.985 is possible providing the water start temperature was 68°F. Important: To achieve the best quality alcohol it is important to use Turbo Clear after fermentation. Ingredients: Yeast, yeast nutrient.
